This historic hotel had plenty of charm. Some rooms had signs outside the door telling of famous people that had previously stayed in that room. Our room was huge and had a great bathroom set-up with dressing room. The hotel is on a plaza with restaurants, drug store and shopping. It seemed like a safe location for walking around town.

I liked that it was clean and quiet. They gave you soup for dinner. Breakfast was continental. The staff was great and so very professional.

The architecture and the restoration of so many beautiful buildings. The history of this town is amazing. It's equally amazing that so many buildings have escaped the wrecking ball and are being restored. I've been to Santa Fe and Taos. Las Vegas is definitely more of what I enjoy in terms of history, food, architecture and incredibly friendly people.

The plaza and the shops around it were interesting. We did not have time to really do more than that. We would have liked the Hot Springs and the Wildlife Refuge. We liked Charlie's Bakery and Olivia's for breakfast.

Las Vegas New Mexico is an unknown gem.
Las Vegas New Mexico is an unknown gem. Approximately an hour away from Santa Fe (which is way more touristic and buzzing) this small town has an interesting history that you can still feel when visiting.
I loved to stay in the hotel with it's nice hotel shop, but also the antique shops are a real treat if you like to wander through history.

There was nothing positive that stood out.
There was nothing positive that stood out. We were there 1 day, thankfully. The hotel has no elevator, breakfast was unappetizing so we went to mcdonalds instead, and the bed was so uncomfortable that I didn’t sleep well at all and my husband slept sitting in the chair instead. We will choose a different hotel if we decide to visit that area again.

Restaurants closed early on Sundays, ended up eating fast food which is not my preference. The KFC ran out of chicken at 7 pm. Only stayed the night, so I don't have much to say I don't plan to stay there again.

We did not have much time to visit Las Vegas since it was just a one night stop on our way back home. What I like about the town was that the hotels were a little more reasonably priced that those in larger cities.
Las Vegas was a little behind in their recovery from Covid and the shops seemed to have suffered from the lack of business as a lot were. Loser.
The room was perfect. It's big, it's very clean, it's tastefully decorated, it has all the amenities, including a refrigerator & microwave. There were plenty of lamps for light and a big desk to work at. Fairly quiet, good temperature, and the bed was super comfortable. I would stay here again in a minute.
I did not try the morning coffee and breakfast buffet, but I can't imagine it's much different than all the other hotels. Not why I stay there, anyway
Everything! Wonderful staff, clean lobby, very clean and super comfortable rooms! Everyone was awesome and very helpful and hospitable. The room was big, clean and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! It's a quiet location, close enough to plenty of restaurants, gas stations, etc. The pool and hot tub were also clean and very nice. Definitely the nicest place to stay in Las Vegas. We look f
orward to staying again!
The lady was very nice when checking in. The room was larger and with a much better floor plan than more expensive hotels. It had a small living room area with a large t.v. that could been seen from the couch and the beds. Very clean too. I do wish there was a shelf for the soap in the shower, but that is the only issue we found. It is a "Mom and Pop" place that takes good care of their facilities.
loved the old world feeling of the building with its wide staircases, pressed metal ceilings and furniture- you can just image what it would have been like back in the day
huge beds in a twin room
cafe directly attached to hotel
location off a quaint town square (great pizza shop adjacent to hotel)
hotel full of information on local history and famous people who have stayed
Exceptional value. Half the price of the other nearby hotels. Yes the facility is older but it was comfortable. Having just stayed in hotels from Arizona to North Carolina and back on this trip, this was one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in. The proprietor and his wife were very friendly as well.
People where nice they help us out when booking didn’t send over reservations had to cancel when already paid then pay again booking didn’t cancel me i still paid booking and hotel payed 87$ to booking and then 87$ to Travelodge what can you do for me not happy with your company
the girl at the frontdesk was friendly. The room was very clean. The fridge is almost soundless, Good coffeemaker. Very good light in the room. This motel is better as some bigger and more expensive hotels. They did a great job with the renovation
Excellent dinner in the Prarie Hill Cafe, great beer in the hotel saloon (and great music although a bit too loud), lovely hotel, great gift shop and very nice people working at hotel.
The decor was appealing and very appropriate for this location. Everything was very clean & pleasant. The gumbo soup was delicious. The staff were more pleasant than at other hotels.
Good hotel buffet breakfast. Great linens, towels, and other room amenities. We had not stayed in a Best Western before and now will look for same when we travel.
